About the Author/Illustrator
Cate Douglas has a background in graphic design and copywriting. She has contributed to various journals within her target market, spoken at associated trade events and was a governor at a London preparatory school for seven years. A quiet calling to write children’s picture books first emerged when her daughter was a toddler. Later, with an empty nest, she was able to fulfil a passionate commitment to bring forth her first book, Poppy’s Tail. Cate lives in London and takes time for creative nourishment on a small Greek island.
Cate regularly visits schools in person and currently via Zoom, reading Poppy's Tail to Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, delivering her fun workshops, complete with tail-wearing, music and activities. Please visit our Schools page or email info@bobbunbooks.com for more information.
